With the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the construction of a plant for the production of extruded fish feed has begun in Kazakhstan. The capacity of this project is 25 thousand tons per year. The production of commercial fish in Kazakhstan is steadily growing: in 2025, about 23 thousand tons of fish were produced, and in 2026, it is planned to increase the production volume to 64.7 thousand tons. The annual demand of the country's fish farms is about 72 thousand tons, and the new plant will help reduce dependence on imports of high-protein feeds.
