On July 10, 2026, Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut held a meeting on ensuring the agro-industrial complex with fuel, with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Energy, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS), and regional agricultural management bodies. Earlier, President Vladimir Putin instructed to adhere to seasonal schedules for fuel supplies to agricultural enterprises. The meeting reviewed fuel needs for crop production, livestock farming, and the food industry, primarily for seasonal field work, transportation of raw materials for processing, and delivery of finished products. The Ministry of Energy confirmed the availability of necessary fuel volumes.
Work is underway to conclude direct contracts with regions and oil companies, identify regional operators, and assign agricultural producers to oil depots and gas stations. The FAS continues to monitor the price situation on the fuel market and verify the justification for changes in the cost of fuels and lubricants.
