At a Government of Kazakhstan meeting, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Azat Sultanov presented data on the material and technical base of the agricultural sector. According to him, the country has 133,900 tractors, 5,600 high-capacity planting complexes, and 71,400 seeders ready for operation. Thanks to state support, the fleet renewal rate is expected to reach 6.5% by the end of 2025, with this year's target set at 8%. Machinery wear and tear has been reduced by 10%.
Domestic agricultural machinery production increased by 22% over the year, with 9,900 units planned for this year. The reimbursement rate for purchasing domestic machinery is 30%, while for imported equipment it ranges from 15% to 25%. 402,000 tons of subsidized diesel fuel have been allocated for the planting campaign, of which 204,700 tons have already been shipped.
