Food Corporation will allocate over 60 billion tenge to support farmers in 2026. The national operator has transferred 51.6 billion tenge to the accounts of farm households in the first half of 2026. After the execution of forward contracts and final settlements for the supplied crop, the total amount of financing for farmers may reach 65.7 billion tenge. A significant part of the funding is provided by Food Corporation through its own working capital.
The funds are directed towards the implementation of support tools for farmers - direct purchase of agricultural products and forward financing of spring field work. As part of the direct purchase program, farm households sold 191.8 thousand tons of grain and oil crops to Food Corporation, which is twice as much as in 2025.
