During a government meeting, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Azat Sultanov announced the launch of a pilot digital platform designed to collect and analyze data on the progress of the sowing campaign. Developed by the Ministry of Agriculture in collaboration with the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, the system will eventually integrate AI modules for production forecasting. Concurrently, efforts are underway to ensure seed quality, with the country's total requirement standing at 2.3 million tons meeting the first and second grade standards. Following a directive from the Head of State, applications for subsidized financing to construct and modernize grain storage facilities have been accepted since April.
A roadmap outlining funding criteria and implementation indicators has been established, with plans to increase total elevator capacity to 1 million tons upon full financial backing.
