Russian Chocolate Export Grows by 17%

Russian chocolate exports have increased by 17% from January to April 2026, with Kazakhstan being the main buyer.

Over the period from January to April 2026, Russian exports of chocolate confectionery products reached $304 million, increasing by 17% compared to the same period last year. The physical volume of shipments exceeded 60 thousand tons. The main buyers of Russian chocolate are Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Uzbekistan. Kazakhstan received chocolate confectionery products worth $99 million, which is 28% more than the figure for the same period last year.

Russia is the largest supplier of chocolate confectionery products to Kazakhstan, with more than a 70% share in the total import volume of chocolate in the republic.
