The Breeding Genetic Center "Smena" has begun deliveries of breeding poultry to Belarus. In 2026, a contract was signed with a Belarusian agricultural combine for the supply of day-old parent stock chicks of the "Smena-9" cross. This is the first case of export of Russian genetics in poultry farming. Belarusian specialists noted that the poultry develops strictly according to schedule and demonstrates excellent growth rates.
The export was carried out with the assistance of the representative of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture in Belarus. According to expert estimates, in 2025 Russia exported live chickens worth $22 million, and in the first 4 months of 2026 - $7.5 million. Belarus is one of the key buyers of domestic chickens this year, with a purchase volume of $1.6 million.
