On July 15, a meeting was held in the government of the Altai Region to discuss the development of exports of the region's agricultural products. In 2025, the export of the region's agricultural products in value terms amounted to $739 million, which is 1.7 times higher than the figure for 2021. Russia's food export reached $41.6 billion in 2025 and continues to grow in 2026. A package of measures is being implemented to support Russian exporters, including compensation for transportation costs and preferential lending.
The Altai Region plans to expand its presence in foreign markets by 2030 and in the long term by 2036.
