Export of Russian Agricultural Sector Grows by 26%

Russia's agricultural export has increased by 26% in the first half of the year, with the Siberian Federal District being one of the leading regions, and China, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan being key export markets.

In the first half of the year, the export of Russian agricultural sector products increased by 26% compared to the same period last year and reached around $21 billion. The Siberian Federal District is among the regions with the largest volume of agricultural exports. The Novosibirsk Region and the Altai Territory are the leaders in exports, with a volume of $1.026 billion and $739 million, respectively. The Federal Center "Agroexport" provides assistance to regional authorities and businesses in promoting products abroad.

China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and other countries are promising markets for Russian exports. The Rosselkhoznadzor is working to expand the sales markets for crop and livestock products, including China.
