Kazakhstan Agro-Industrial Growth

Kazakhstan's agro-industrial complex grew 4.4% in the first half of 2026. Gross agricultural output reached 2.2 trillion tenge.

In the first half of 2026, Kazakhstan's economic growth was 4.1%, with agricultural output increasing by 4.4% to 2.2 trillion tenge. Investment in agriculture rose by 36.4% and in food production by 2.7 times, to 207.3 billion tenge. The government's 'Auyl Amanaty' program financed 2,738 projects worth 29.4 billion tenge. The total sown area expanded to 23.8 million hectares, with livestock numbers also increasing.

Major investment agreements have been signed, including a $1.5 billion corn deep processing plant with Shengtai Biotech LLP and a $650 million deep grain processing plant with Asia Altyn Dan LLP.
