Farmer from East Kazakhstan Region Establishes "AbiNar" Cooperative with 25 Million Tenge

A farmer in East Kazakhstan founded the "AbiNar" poultry processing cooperative with 25 million tenge in state support, boosting production, quality, and jobs.

Azamat Kenzhekhan, an entrepreneur from the East Kazakhstan Region, has established the production cooperative "AbiNar" in the village of Novo-Ulbinka, Glubokovsky District, specializing in poultry meat processing. Under the "Auyl Amanaty" program, the farmer received preferential financing in the amount of 25 million tenge, which was used to build a modern poultry slaughter and processing workshop and purchase necessary equipment. The opening of the workshop has increased production volumes, improved product quality, and created additional jobs for rural residents. According to industry data, by the end of 2025, Kazakhstan had 49.1 million poultry birds, a 7.7% increase compared to 2024; poultry meat production exceeded 372 thousand tons, and egg production reached 4.6 billion units.

As of April 1, 2026, 93.8 thousand tons of poultry meat and over 1.1 billion eggs have been produced. The country operates 69 poultry farms, of which 32 are focused on meat production and 37 on egg production; domestic demand for eggs is fully covered, while self-sufficiency in poultry meat stands at 78%.
