Land plot returned to the state in North Kazakhstan region

A land plot of 105 hectares illegally allocated for gardening on public pasture lands in North Kazakhstan was returned to the state after a court ruling.

The Department for Land Resource Management of the North Kazakhstan Region, under the Committee for Land Resources Management of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, during an unscheduled inspection in the Shal Akyn district, identified the illegal provision of a land plot of 105 hectares. The plot, located within the boundaries of a populated area, was allocated for gardening purposes using lands designated as public pastures. According to land legislation, public pastures cannot be transferred into private ownership or land use and are intended exclusively for grazing agricultural animals. The Department filed a lawsuit with the specialized inter-district economic court of the North Kazakhstan Region to invalidate the lease agreement.

The court fully granted the claim, and the judicial act has entered into legal force. The land plot has been returned to the state land fund.
