Vice Minister of Agriculture Meets with Farmers of Pavlodar Region

Vice Minister of Agriculture met with farmers in Pavlodar region, discussing agricultural results, state support, and future plans, including increased sown areas and livestock development.

A meeting between Vice Minister of Agriculture Yermek Kenzhekhanuly and the public and agricultural producers was held in the Pavlodar region. The discussions covered the results of the development of the agro-industrial complex, state support measures, and industry objectives. Based on the results of 2025, the gross output of Kazakhstan's agricultural sector increased by 5.9% to reach 9.8 trillion tenge. Grain and flour exports in grain equivalent amounted to 15.3 million tons, the highest figure in the last 20 years.

In 2026, the sown area in the Pavlodar region will be 1.7 million hectares (an increase of 43,000 hectares compared to 2025). Plans include reducing wheat areas and increasing the sowing of oilseed and fodder crops. In 2025, 190 agricultural producers from Pavlodar received preferential loans totaling 22.5 billion tenge, covering over 305,000 hectares of sown area. Under the preferential leasing program, the acquisition of 654 units of machinery worth 22.5 billion tenge was financed.

The government has approved a Comprehensive Livestock Development Plan with financing of over 400 billion tenge. Within the framework of lending for investment projects in the region, 8 projects worth 11.6 billion tenge were financed, including the construction of dairy farms, processing facilities, greenhouses, and vegetable storage facilities.
