Kazakhstan and France Sign Roadmap for Cooperation in Agriculture

Kazakhstan and France signed a roadmap to boost agricultural cooperation, with trade turnover at $103.2 million in 2025, involving soybean, ethanol, and sunflower oil exports, and French investment projects.

Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov and French Minister of Agriculture, Agri-Food and Forestry Annie Genevard signed a roadmap to strengthen cooperation in the agricultural sector. Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and France in 2025 amounted to $103.2 million. Kazakhstan exports soybeans, ethyl alcohol, and sunflower oil to France. French companies Lactalis and Danone are implementing major investment projects in Kazakhstan.

The roadmap aims to strengthen bilateral interaction and develop new areas of cooperation in the agricultural sector.
