On March 20, 2026, Kazakhstan celebrated Ұлттық спорт күні (National Sports Day) as part of the festive decade "Nauryznama," a day dedicated to national sports. Employees of the Food Corporation joined the nationwide challenge. The event was opened by the Chairman of the Board, Asylkhan Dzhuvashev. He noted that the sporting traditions of the people unite history and culture, are passed down from generation to generation, and foster a sense of unity.
The competition program included tug of war, kettlebell lifting, table tennis, and lyanga. The game of asyk atu, one of the most popular Kazakh folk games, drew particular interest. In 2017, asyk atu was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The most active participants received certificates and commemorative prizes.
