The Procurement Corporation paid farmers 29.5 billion tenge under the forward purchase program of agricultural products, which is 11.6 billion tenge more than in 2025. The application process for financing spring field work began in December. As of May 15, 2026, contracts have been signed for the autumn supply of 478 thousand tons of grain and oilseeds, of which 334.3 thousand tons are wheat. Agricultural formations plan to ship 95 thousand tons of sunflower, rapeseed, and flax seeds.
The Chairman of the Board of JSC NC "Procurement Corporation" Asylkhan Dzhuvashov noted that the increase in interest in cultivating oilseeds is due to their high market value and demand.
