As of May 15, 2026, under the forward procurement program for agricultural products, JSC "NC "Prodkorporatsiya" has paid farmers 29.5 billion tenge, which is 11.6 billion more than in 2025. The application process for financing spring field work began in December. Contracts have been concluded for the autumn supply of 478 thousand tons of grain and oilseed crops, including 334.3 thousand tons of wheat. Agricultural entities plan to ship 95 thousand tons of sunflower, rapeseed, and flaxseed, which is 2.5 times the supply volumes of the previous agricultural season.
Chairman of the Board of Prodkorporatsiya, Asylkhan Dzhuvashev, noted that the growing interest in oilseeds is due to their higher market value compared to wheat and demand from domestic processors and external markets. The commissioning of new capacities within the country increases the need for raw materials. Prodkorporatsiya has expanded limits on forward financing for oilseed producers, resulting in a doubling of applications for the supply of sunflower and other oilseeds in the new agricultural season.
