Kazakhstan to Increase Exports to Spain

Kazakhstan and Spain are set to increase agricultural cooperation, with Kazakhstan aiming to expand its exports to Spain, particularly in grain, oilseeds, and other agricultural products.

The Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Aidarbek Saparov, and the Minister of Agriculture of Spain, Luis Planas, discussed the expansion of agricultural cooperation. Exports from Kazakhstan to Spain increased by 2 times in 2025, with the main share consisting of grain and vegetable crops. Kazakhstan is ready to expand its presence in the Spanish market by increasing exports of grain, oilseeds, and other agricultural products. The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of agricultural technologies, irrigation, and investment projects, including the creation of a vertically integrated complex for meat production with the participation of Big Farm LLC.
