According to the data from JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, from September 2025 to May 20, 2026, the export volume of grain and flour in grain equivalent amounted to 11.7 million tons, which is 13.6% higher than the indicator of the same period last year. The growth of export supplies is noted in the key directions of Central Asia and Afghanistan. Exports to Uzbekistan increased by 39.5% - from 3.5 million tons to 4.8 million tons. Supplies to Kyrgyzstan grew 1.5 times - from 297 thousand tons to 457 thousand tons.
Significant growth is also recorded in the direction of Afghanistan - 2.3 times, and to Turkmenistan - by 47.7%.
