Alfalfa Processing Plant to Launch in North Kazakhstan Region in 2026

Alfalfa processing plant in North Kazakhstan region, costing 5 billion tenge, to produce 60,000 tons of granules annually for domestic and export markets, with German equipment, launching August 2026.

In the North Kazakhstan Region, construction of an alfalfa processing plant worth 5 billion tenge continues. The investment project is being implemented by SalarFarm LLP under the program to replicate the region's successful experience. The enterprise will produce up to 60,000 tons of granulated alfalfa per year. The majority of products are planned for supply to the domestic market, as well as for export to China and Central Asian countries.

On a 3-hectare site, installation of metal structures is underway, and a main water supply pipeline has been laid. Modern German-made technological equipment has been purchased and delivered. The launch of production is scheduled for August 2026.
