Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov, during a working trip to the Akmola Region, inspected the progress of spring field work. The first site was the agricultural lands of Namys Group in the Zerenda District, where the total sowing area will exceed 15,000 hectares, including 5,000 hectares for wheat, 4,000 hectares for flax, and 3,000 hectares for lentils. Overall, out of the planned 5.5 million hectares for sowing in the region, over 2 million hectares have already been sown. Grains and legumes will occupy 4.6 million hectares, oilseeds—534,000 hectares, and fodder crops—353,000 hectares.
In 2026, 750 billion tenge is allocated for concessional lending for spring field and harvesting work. As of the visit date, the total pool of applications under the Spring Field and Harvesting Work program amounted to 5,102 applications for 626.3 billion tenge, with over 4,700 farmers financed for 566.4 billion tenge (covering over 6.7 million hectares). In the Akmola Region, applications were received from 616 agricultural producers for 90.8 billion tenge, and 591 farmers received concessional loans totaling 83 billion tenge. Under the "Concessional Leasing" program in 2026, 166 applications worth 30.2 billion tenge were received from Akmola agricultural producers, and 141 contracts were concluded for the supply of 313 units of machinery worth 21.1 billion tenge.
The minister was also presented with the new feed mill "Unicorn Feed Limited" with a capacity of 120,000 tons per year, targeting both the domestic market and exports, including to Russia. Additionally, he visited a dairy farm for 400 head of cattle at AGRO MILK PROJECT LLP (commissioned in October 2025, project cost 1.5 billion tenge, partially financed under the North Kazakhstan Region experience replication program).
