Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov and Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia Nyamtaishiryn Nomtoibayar discussed key areas of bilateral cooperation in the agro-industrial complex. The parties agreed to develop mutual trade, logistics infrastructure, agricultural science, and cooperation in veterinary and phytosanitary control. Agricultural trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Mongolia increased by 10% in the first quarter of 2026. Kazakhstan is ready to increase supplies of grain, flour, sunflower oil, rice, and fruit and vegetable products.
The parties also discussed prospects for cooperation in leather and wool processing, development of agricultural science, and educational programs.
