According to operational data from regional akimats, as of today, agricultural crops have been sown on an area of 20.9 million hectares in Kazakhstan. Grains are planted on 15 million hectares, oilseeds on 4.2 million hectares, fodder crops on 1.2 million hectares, cotton on 164,300 hectares, and sugar beets on 22,000 hectares. The sowing campaign is most intensive in the main grain-producing regions: in Akmola region, 5.3 million hectares have been sown; in Kostanay region, 5 million hectares; and in North Kazakhstan region, 4.1 million hectares. The campaign involves over 133,900 tractors, about 5,600 high-performance sowing complexes, 71,400 seeders, and 188,500 tillage implements.
Technical support for farmers is provided by 70 service centers.
