Prodkorporatsiya and Soy Sky Farm Tech to Promote Agricultural Products in Asia

Prodkorporatsiya and Soy Sky Farm Tech signed a memo to boost Kazakh grain, legume, oilseed, and wheat flour exports to Asia via Hong Kong, focusing on market development, logistics, and soybean production.

Prodkorporatsiya and Soy Sky Farm Tech Company Limited (Hong Kong) have signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing exports of grains, legumes, oilseeds, and wheat flour to China and Southeast Asia. The partners plan to use Hong Kong as a regional trade gateway for Kazakh agricultural products to enter the Asian market. In the first phase, the parties will exchange information on buyer needs, Kazakhstan's export capabilities, and develop mechanisms for cooperation in trade and logistics. Soy Sky Farm Tech will facilitate the development of sales channels, provide market expertise on Asia-Pacific countries, and promote Kazakh soybeans and their processed products.

Prodkorporatsiya will focus on coordinating export readiness, supply stability, and interaction with domestic agricultural producers. A separate area may involve developing soybean production and processing in Kazakhstan: Hong Kong partners are ready to provide soybean seeds to Kazakh farmers. During negotiations, the use of forward and other financing instruments for agricultural producers was discussed. Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Prodkorporatsiya Samat Tenbayev noted the sustained interest of foreign partners in Kazakh products and emphasized that the memorandum creates a foundation for finding new sales channels.
