A meat processing plant, LLC "Astana ETCom", will be launched in Astana on the territory of the Industrial Park. The construction was inspected by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov. The total cost of the project is 8 billion tenge, financed through credit funds under state programs to support entrepreneurship and investors' own funds. The plant will be put into operation in the second quarter of 2026.
The project's capacity is up to 50 tons of finished products per day, or over 18,000 tons per year. Raw materials are planned to be purchased from domestic producers, including JSC "Aitas", LLC "KazBeef", as well as farm households in the regions. The range of products includes sausage products, meat delicacies, semi-finished products, and chilled products. In the first stage, up to 100 jobs will be created, and after reaching full capacity, up to 300.
The plant is focused on both the domestic market and export. The Prime Minister also familiarized himself with the work of LLC "RnR Group" sites for the production of baked goods and dairy products in Astana. The total cost of these projects is 8.8 billion tenge. The production capacity is up to 25 tons of flour products and up to 100 tons of dairy products per day.
A dairy processing plant with a capacity of up to 100 tons of milk per day and producing 350 types of products (cost - 6 billion tenge) was put into operation in 2026, with the first production scheduled for August. Both enterprises use their own raw material base. In total, in 2025-2026, 2 vegetable storage facilities with a capacity of 12,000 tons and 3 processing plants with a capacity of 53,000 tons of products per year were opened in Astana. 18,000 tons of vegetables were contracted.
In the next two years, it is planned to launch 7 more investment projects in the agricultural sector worth 180 billion tenge, creating 1,600 jobs.
