Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut and Head of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) Veronika Skvortsova discussed the implementation of joint biotechnological projects in veterinary medicine. The meeting was attended by representatives of industry research organizations and businesses. The key area of cooperation is the development of veterinary immunobiological preparations against economically significant animal diseases, primarily in poultry and pig farming. Special attention is paid to vector technologies for creating next-generation vaccines, as well as the development of modern diagnostic solutions.
"Combining the competencies of agricultural science, veterinary medicine, biotechnological production, and FMBA research centers allows us to move faster from research to practical solutions for the industry, create new competitive technologies, and reduce dependence on imports," noted Oksana Lut. The parties agreed to continue joint work in key areas.
