Kazakhstan Expands Agro-Export

Kazakhstan is expanding its agro-export, with 15.3 million tons of grain and flour sent abroad in the last agricultural season, and grain exports reaching 12 million tons in the current marketing year.

In Geneva, the Kazakhstan Commodity Forum was held, where the prospects of international trade in raw materials were discussed. The domestic agro-industry was represented by the first deputy chairman of the board of JSC NC "Prodcorporation" Ildar Ismagulov. He emphasized the significant potential of Kazakhstani agricultural products and the growing role of the country in food supplies to world markets. In the last agricultural season, Kazakhstan sent 15.3 million tons of grain and flour abroad, significantly expanding the geography of exports.

In this marketing year, grain exports have already reached 12 million tons. Prodcorporation has all the necessary infrastructure to ensure stable grain supplies, including four own elevators and three grain terminals in the ports of Aktau, Amirabad, and Govsan.
