In the current year, at the border with China, 7 cases of violation of veterinary legislation during the import and transit of goods were identified and suppressed. More than 113 tons of products were detained, including 66.4 tons of frozen chicken fillet, 46.8 tons of duck meat, and 22 tons of fish feed. The import and transit were carried out in violation of the existing temporary veterinary restrictions. Two individuals and four legal entities were held administratively liable for the identified violations.
The detained products were deemed unsafe and subject to destruction, which was carried out from March to May 2026.
