Workshop for Organic Products to Open at A.I. Baraev Grain Farming Research and Production Center

A workshop for organic products will be opened at the A.I. Baraev Grain Farming Research and Production Center in Kazakhstan, aiming to produce organic products based on grain crops grown without chemicals.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan has announced the completion of preparations for the opening of a workshop for the production of organic products at the A.I. Baraev Grain Farming Research and Production Center. The workshop plans to produce a line of organic products based on grain crops grown without the use of chemical plant protection agents, synthetic pesticides, and mineral fertilizers. The raw material base will be provided by the Center's experimental fields, where grain, oilseed, and leguminous crops are grown in compliance with the requirements of organic production.

The project implementation uses the results of the Center's scientific research aimed at improving the technologies for cultivating agricultural crops. Digital solutions and automation of production processes are being introduced to monitor the state of crops, control soil indicators, and analyze weather conditions. The launch of the workshop is part of the state policy to develop organic production and deep processing of agricultural products in Kazakhstan.
