Meat Processing Plant in Abay Region to Become the Largest in Kazakhstan

A meat processing plant is being built in the Abay region of Kazakhstan, which will become the largest in the country after its launch in 2025, creating 250 new jobs and having a production capacity of up to 100 heads of cattle and 1,000 heads of small cattle per shift.

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin familiarized himself with the construction progress of the meat processing complex of Eurasia Agro Semey LLP in the Abay region. The launch of the enterprise is planned for 2025. The complex, located 18 km from Semey, is a vertically integrated full-cycle enterprise - from livestock reception to the release of sausage products, semi-finished products, meat cans, and delicatessen products. The production capacity will be up to 100 heads of cattle and horses, as well as up to 1,000 heads of small cattle per shift.

250 new jobs will be created. According to the company's management, after reaching the projected capacity, the enterprise will become the largest meat processing complex in Kazakhstan. To ensure loading, a meat cluster is being formed, including farm households, feeding grounds, irrigated lands for growing feed, and related productions. As part of the trip, Zhumangarin also visited the oil extraction plant of Qazaq-Astyq Group LLP, the enterprise for processing legumes and oilseeds of Agrolider KAZ LLP, and Kazpolygraph LLP.
