A plant for deep processing of fruit and vegetable raw materials with a capacity of 70,000 tons per year has been launched in the Almaty Region. The project was implemented by LLP "Alpecon Group" in partnership with the Turkish company Göknur Gıda. The total investment amounted to 9.5 billion tenge. The production complex is located on an area of 30 hectares.
At the first stage, the enterprise will process up to 70,000 tons of fruit and vegetable raw materials per year, producing 13,000 tons of fruit and vegetable juice concentrates, purees, and pastes. The products are aimed at export markets, including Turkey. The second stage involves launching the production of pectin from apple waste. It is planned to produce up to 1,000 tons of pectin and 3,000 tons of apple fiber annually for supply to the markets of South Korea and Japan.
The enterprise has created over 100 permanent jobs. The strategic goal of the investors is to form by 2028 the first full-cycle agro-industrial cluster in Kazakhstan with a network of agricultural product collection points from the Zhetysu Region to the Turkestan Region.
