On June 22, 2026, a working meeting was held at the Russian Ministry of Agriculture between Minister Oksana Lut and Alexey Raykevich, the General Director of GLONASS. The parties discussed the implementation of digital services in the agro-industrial complex based on the ERA-GLONASS system, including a unified system for identifying unmanned transport. The preparation of an agreement on information interaction between the department and GLONASS is at its final stage, which will ensure data exchange for accounting for unmanned aerial systems and self-propelled vehicles with autopilot. A plan for integrating the information systems of the Ministry of Agriculture and the ERA-GLONASS system is being formed.
The application of technologies in animal husbandry is being considered: monitoring of flock routes and counting of small livestock. Interaction with the Rosselkhoznadzor continues on the use of ERA-GLONASS data for controlling the circulation of pesticides and agrochemicals. Together with GLONASS, work is being done to promote Russian unmanned agrotechnologies on the African continent.
