Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Aidarbek Saparov held a meeting with Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia David Songulashvili. As of the end of 2025, the trade turnover of agricultural products between the two countries grew by 77%, exceeding $116 million. Kazakhstan is interested in increasing exports of grain, flour, vegetable oils, pasta, meat, dairy products, chocolate, and confectionery to the Georgian market. The parties discussed the finalization of veterinary and sanitary requirements for the supply of live pigs and pork meat from Kazakhstan to Georgia, as well as the practical implementation of previously agreed veterinary certificates for the export of breeding and commercial cattle and small ruminants.
