Milk Sales in Russia Increase by 2.1%

Daily milk sales in Russia rose by 2.1% year-on-year, with top regions in sales and yield identified.

According to data from the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, as of June 22, 2026, the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural organizations amounted to 60,400 tons, which is 2.1% (+1,200 tons) higher than the same period in 2025. The highest sales volumes (from 2,000 tons) were recorded in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Udmurt Republic, Krasnodar Krai, Voronezh Oblast, and Kirov Oblast. The average daily milk yield per cow across the country reached 24.8 kg, which is 1 kg more than a year earlier. The leaders in milk yield were Kaluga, Kaliningrad, and Kursk Oblasts, where over 29 kg of milk per cow was obtained.
