On June 28, a final meeting between representatives of Rosselkhoznadzor and the General Administration of Customs of China took place in Moscow, concluding the Chinese delegation's visit to Russia. During the trip, Chinese experts inspected Russian poultry and pork production facilities and studied the procedures for laboratory control and export documentation of livestock products. The delegation visited the subordinate institution of Rosselkhoznadzor, FGBI "VGNKI," where they learned about the organization of the veterinary service and information systems for monitoring product movement. At the testing center of FGBI "VGNKI," Chinese specialists were shown the operation of laboratories for detecting residues of veterinary drugs.
Delegation members visited a customs clearance zone, a poultry farm, and enterprises producing poultry and pork products. The parties discussed the development of cooperation between veterinary services in improving product analysis methods, aligning approaches to laboratory research, training specialists, and integrating information systems. Participants confirmed mutual interest in expanding supplies of animal-derived products.
