In the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), an International Forum on the Development of Animal Husbandry was held, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the state breeding service. It was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Roman Nekrasov and representatives of the scientific community. The development of the breeding base, the introduction of scientific developments, and support measures were discussed. In Yakutia, they preserve and develop a unique domestic gene pool, including the Yakutian cattle and horse breeds.
They also separately discussed issues of scientific activity, including a project to improve the competitiveness of horse meat within the "Priority 2030" program.
