The Oryol region is hosting the regional Agricultural Week - 2026. The central event was the Day of the Russian Field, where demonstration crops of over 50 varieties and hybrids of domestic breeding, agricultural machinery, and mineral fertilizers were presented. There are more than 1,200 farm households, over 150 agricultural organizations, and 200 food and processing industry enterprises operating in the region's agro-industrial complex. The region's agricultural products are exported to 35 countries worldwide.
State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Agriculture Maxim Uvaidov took part in the opening ceremony of the Day of the Russian Field and noted that the Ministry of Agriculture is ready to provide comprehensive support to the region.
