Kazakhstan Grain Exports Rise

Kazakhstan's grain and flour exports reached 13.1 million tons, a 13% increase from last season.

Kazakhstan's grain and flour exports in grain equivalent amounted to 13.1 million tons from September 2025 to June 2026, according to JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy. This is 13% higher than the same period last season, when 11.6 million tons were exported. The main drivers of growth were traditional importing countries in the Central Asian region and Afghanistan. Exports to Uzbekistan increased by 38% to 5.5 million tons, to Kyrgyzstan by 1.4 times to 504,000 tons, to Afghanistan by 59% to 2.2 million tons, and to Turkmenistan by 37% to 205,000 tons.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan commented that the positive freight transport statistics demonstrate the effectiveness of measures taken to develop export logistics and expand trade and economic cooperation with foreign partners.
